I am trying to get into Film making, i have been looking at the EOS 5D MkII, Canon, 7D, Nikon 7000. I want great picture but not breaking the bank. I know that you cant get anything good for cheap. Any ideas guys, please help.

I want to make like little mockumentaries or maybe even little short films. I don’t want any expensive models, something that is maybe $200-$250 or less.
Just a camcorder (that might also take pictures but it’s not required that it does so) that’s really good in catching movement, sound (if not then perhaps external mic) and remember modern and cheap. Thank you.
